About Annabelle

Annabelle is currently undertaking her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland. Annabelle works at the Mind Evolution Centre in both an administrative and therapy-driven capacity. She engages with NDIS clients in a therapy assistant role whereby she assists clients in a wide range of areas such as planning and organisation, emotional regulation and management, goal setting and accountability, mindfulness and breathing strategies as well as job-seeking and improving client employability.

Annabelle assists clients in becoming more self-directed, improving client's social skills and increasing their independence whilst under the direction of the clinic director and other registered psychologists at the clinic.

Annabelle enjoys working with adolescents and young adults as they progress through school and into the workforce and finds a sense of accomplishment with increasing clients capacity to cope with real-world day to day tasks and stressors.

Annabelle works alongside the registered psychologists at the clinic, offering great value in supporting your therapy and rehabilitation goals with more regular therapy sessions than what would be available with registered psychologists alone. Working with a therapy assistant like Annabelle, allows you to maximise how NDIS funding is allocated and provides additional time to reinforce and practice tools and skills learned in therapy, ensuring that time with registered psychologists is well-spent.
